Milton Friedman Dies at 94

Milton Friedman died today at the age of 94. Mr. Friedman was considered one of the greatest and most influential economist of modern history. Friedman was clearly an economist right down to last fiber of his body and to the very end he kept his wit sharp and continued to add value to the profession. His departure will be sorely regretted. Our Thoughts obviously go out to family and close friends. 94 is indeed some way to go but in Friedman's case you still feel it was way too early.

Professor Mankiw also has a nice and suiting post about Friedman's death.

Update: Felix Salmon (and many others!) also has something up including some videos of Friedman from YouTube.
